The days followed in a routine matter. Every morning a girl named Becky would serve breakfast for all 12 of us, and then William would announce that day's mission. Eventually I learned that Silvia had seen me as one of the four leaders, and then I was destined to be with them – or at least so she said.

"Alright, today we're going out on a hunting mission," explained William, on the 7th day I was there. "We'll be hunting a group of rogues, 15 total. So get equipped and head out."
I was excited for this mission – we had been doing surveillance up until now. We got out the door quickly, and the air leader, Daniel, was telling me a pointless story. Out in the open air, I found William and went up to him, smiling. We chatted for a bit, mainly about today's mission, before he went off to start leading everyone. Looking after him, I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around, sad emerald eyes filled my vision. A tender hand brushed back my white hair. "Hey," he said solemnly.
"Hey!" I replied, oblivious to his pain. Reaching up on the tip of my toes, I pressed my lips into his. "Love ya~" I called to him, running to catch up with the head of the group.

A month had passed and we received another mission. This one was particularly strange. It evolved moving pebbles upon a road to help increase the chances of transmutations there. Apparently an alchemist had hired us. About to go out, William pulled me aside.
"Someone's found us, one of the scientists," he explained quietly, brown eyes close to my blue ones. "I can't specify when, but sometime this day a teleport will take you to the ocean. Leon will follow you after, and then more of the group will come. You two being the strongest water users, we'll need you to help get them to safety. Call on some dolphins and have them carry two each – easy task. Don't bring it up to anyone, though. I've talked to everyone in private, but it's a slightly touchy topic. Remember, you'll be the first to go, so don't be scared." After explaining, he smiled a priceless smile, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Okay," I said, not completely understanding what he was asking of me.
Going out will all of us, it was pretty quiet. We didn't have any special tools with us to help – we were just moving pebbles after all. Quietly walking to our destination, we passed some shrubs, in the shape of assorted elves.
"Wow, can we play with them?" called one of the younger members. Other called out in similar enthusiasm. It got pretty boring at the small cabin.
"When we finish, we'll come back this way and you can play with them then," I said in an almost motherly tone. William glanced approvingly my way. It was a short walk when we reached a pebble path. We had just jumped over a few fences, and the land here was slightly hilly with short grass. I could see why the alchemist had hired us – all of the pebbles had moved to the bottom on the hill.
"Daniel, Leon, Cathy, us four will move the pebbles up on this path, then we'll get everyone else to do the other paths," William explained. Stepping on the path, we kicked the pebbles haphazardly. This wasn't exactly a mission for ninjas. My thoughts wandered as I kicked the small, round, grey stones. Why would ninjas need to do this? I asked my self. So pointless. Looking up to the other members, I remember that a couple of them were earthmovers. Why don't we just get them to do it? I asked myself. Today, William's motives made no sense. Seeing the pebbles were fine where I was, I ran up to the top of the small hill, and kicked some pebbles up there. I noticed that a creek ran at the top, and took some of the pebbles down a small waterfall. A small but very frightening waterfall. It was only one meter wide, but almost a mile down. Looking over it, a gazed at the pretty but deadly white rapids below. Suddenly, a felt a small push against my back, and I toppled headfirst downwards. Too scared to make a sound, my eyes stayed wide, until I broke the water.
It was a few minutes until I broke the surface again, and this time I was nowhere near a waterfall or any pebbles. I was out in a vast blue ocean, no islands in sight. Staying afloat easily, I looked back at the spot I had come from. William had mentioned this, and he said that Leon was supposed to come after me. Almost half an hour past when a head broke the surface, but instead of the blond mop of hair that was Leon, it was sandy brown hair, matched by stunning green eyes.
"Kyle!" I shouted, confused and relieved.
"Hey," he said coughing up water, unsuccessfully trying to keep his head above water.
"Don't… don't worry about it," I cooed to him, lying him on his back, head resting against my chest, "we'll be fine." Looking up at the sky I silently swam, hoping we could sometime reach land. Thankfully being a water user, it took almost no energy on my part to swim for the first hour, but after 5 my body took a toll too. Breathing heavily, I finally spotted a small sandy island. Dragging both Kyle and myself onto that beach was a challenge, but I did it anyway. Exhausted, I practically passed out, but somehow stayed awake.
"We're safe," I breathed quietly. Feeling a pang on my side, I reached into my pocket. It was a waterproof emergency device. Pressing the one button on it, a message came on the screen. 911 reached, position located, help on its way. I had no clue how it got there, but I was relieved. "We're really safe," I whispered.
"No, we're not," said Kyle. I looked at him, completely confused. He just stared up at the cloudless sky. "You stopped loving me so long ago, instead you went for that William." Thinking about it, I realized it was true. I used to think about Kyle every night, but for the past month I thought about William. I would follow William, laugh at all of his jokes, and my heart would skip when he talked. On top of that, I no longer felt the surge of emotion that happened when Kyle's lips met mine.
"I… I'm so sorry," I said, tears streaming.
"It doesn't matter," he said, voice thick. Salt water ran down his cheeks, too. "I used to be the one who would keep you warm at night. And I will always loved you," was the last thing I heard him say. After that, he stabbed a knife into my heart. I wasn't too sure why, but eventually my soul left my body.
This was based of a dream I had x - X It was hard to explain a lot of things .... usually in dreams I don`t know something then I know it and I dunno how I learned it .....
